We are a business built on a passion for travel, but running a good company means so much more than just exemplary service. It’s been a decade since we took our very first customers out on the road and we know that time never stands still. As important as keeping our destination knowledge fresh is making sure our business is run with compassion.​

We started out as two friends working as Travel Consultant in Backpacker area, and grew to become a company of over 20 people. Luckily it wasn’t hard to find people as enthusiastic about Asia as we are — because without them, there’d be no us. They’re the ones who turn your ideas into incredible trips, supporting you from start to finish, giving you honest, opinionated advice, and generally injecting personality into a process that could otherwise feel generic.

Why have an International
Tour Operator License?

In Vietnam, you can find thousands of tour companies selling and operating tours for international tourists; however, few of them have the correct licenses to run the business legally. In order to be legitimate, a tour company needs to have an International Tour Operator License which requires the following conditions:

  • The manager needs to be qualified from a university in tourism.
  • The manager needs to have a license to be an international (customers) tour operator.
  • The company needs to put 250,000,000 VND (around $10,000 USD) to a local bank, which is to be frozen until the company declares its business finished. This money provides an additional layer of protection for customers to be compensated in any event.
